What is ecommerce customer account?
An ecommerce customer account is a business customer’s login on a distributor’s website, showing its own prices, orders, invoices and saved lists. It includes order history and open orders, and logged-in buyers can reorder, track shipments and pay invoices without calling anyone.
How it works
One customer account can hold many users with different permissions, such as a purchasing manager who can place orders and a foreman who can only build carts for approval.
Ecommerce customer account example
A contractor’s office manager logs in to download last month’s invoices for the accountant, then reorders the crews’ weekly job-site supplies.
